Based in London, Carl Szantyr is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer / Managing Partner of Blockstone Capital, an institutional-grade digital asset investment manager and multi-strategy platform.
Since 2021, Carl Szantyr has led the firm’s growth, overseeing investor relations and capital raising across its alternative investment platform, with a focus on delivering risk-adjusted returns in digital assets. He also supervises secondary pre-IPO transactions, providing investors with access to opportunities such as Kraken (pre-IPO digital asset exchange).
Prior to founding Blockstone Capital, Carl Szantyr spent over a decade as Managing Partner of Goldstone Capital (investment firm)’s Paris and Singapore offices. During this time, he established one of the first derivatives and structured products platforms in France, enabling wealth managers to access institutional pricing and bespoke investment solutions.
He holds a Master of Business Administration from Columbia Business School, as part of the joint Executive MBA programme with London Business School and the University of Hong Kong. In 2024, the programme was ranked seventh globally by the Financial Times.
